Accessibility
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard adopted by the Department of Justice's ADA Title II rule for state and local governments.
What that means in practice
- Every page works with a keyboard alone and with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
- Colors meet the required contrast, and no information is carried by color alone.
- Documents posted since launch are tagged PDFs with real titles, headings and image descriptions.
- The site is re-tested every quarter, and after any major change.
